OUR TRAINING
Obedience and Puppy Training
Wigton does puppy and obedience/motivational training at Waverton Village Hall Cumbria, just outside Wigton on a Wednesday night.
We also do fun nights where there are refreshments,demonstrations and fun "tests".
There is the opportunity to progress into competitive obedience so please speak to trainers and members about pursuing this as a hobby/sport.
Wigton also participates in the Kennel Club Good Citizen awards scheme.
Future Puppy Training Classes
Our training intakes will be on the following dates at Waverton village hall starting at 06:00. Places are limited to 10 so ring Jackie to book (leaving a clear message and contact on the answer phone with contact number ). If places are full then you can go on the waiting list for the next intake if you wish.

Future Puppy Training Classes
Our club also does agility training at Robin Hood House near Bassenthwaite. Smalls and Mediums on a Wednesday with Richard Inglesfield. Large on Thursdays with Jackie Reid.
Unfortunately, our agility training is full but you can be put on a waiting list. See the contact page to email Jackie Reid.

Do you want to help at our obedience or agility shows which are good camping weekends as well? Please speak to members about these fun weekends!
If you wish to do other activities, club members can give advice or give you local contacts for you to develop your chosen training route, whether it is Heelwork to Music or Breed showing.
